Simple Tips that Every Man Should Know about Skin Care
Many men experience adult acne, premature aging of the skin and irritation due to shaving. Nicks and cuts along with pimples don’t make for a very attractive man, add wrinkles and you have a recipe for disaster. Don’t despair; there are some simple tips that can clear up these problems for good.
If you suffer from razor burn, nicks, cuts and red bumpy skin after shaving, then it’s obvious you need to do something different in the way you care for your skin.
* Never use a dull razor, it will most likely cause cuts to the skin no matter what you try.·
* Use an aloe based shaving cream or gel to help the razor glide over the skin.·
*Always shave with the grain unless necessary in some areas.
* Finish with an after shave lotion or daily moisturizer.
* Don’t use alcohol based aftershaves because they will only irritate your skin.
One of the most plaguing problems in men and women is premature aging of the skin. This means wrinkles around your eye and lip area. Are you only 40 and people mistake you for 50 or even 60?! If so, follow these steps.
*Start with cleansing your face before bed every night.
*Use a good cleanser that contains Benzoyl Peroxide and is glycerin based.
*Apply a dime sized amount to your fingers and massage into skin for about 1 to 2 minutes.
* Rinse with water.
* Follow up with using an astringent, apply with a cotton ball.
*End with a moisturizer. Most contain ingredients that will repair the skin from acne scars.
* Always cleanse before you hit the gym. When you work out you, of course, sweat. The sweat is very damaging to your skin, causing acne. If you cleanse before the work out, you will have a clean workout and the sweat will be much less damaging.
You can buy all three cleansing products in a kit at a retail store that sells skin care products. There are many different brands of skin care products, experiment and find the one that best fits your needs. (If you have a serious skin condition, see a licensed dermatologist.)
The number one thing that tends to make us look old is wrinkles. To help prevent them, always wear sunscreen.
* Dab some around your eyes to prevent crow’s feet and around your lip area. You can also dab some on the tips of your ears and nose to prevent sun burns.
* Another great tip to excellent skin care is always drinking plenty of water. You know what they say, 8 glasses a day. It will keep your skin looking and feeling hydrated.
* Get plenty of sleep, at least 7 hours a night. If you get less, chances are you will have bags under your eyes, no one wants that.
You now have all the secrets to having great skin, use these tips and look younger, healthier and happier.
